Over the years, I have worked with many individuals and couples who struggle with concerns related to sexuality, desire, and intimacy. Often, there are underlying emotional or relational issues that influence how we experience sexual connection—such as shame, fear, insecurity, or confusion about desire.
For many people, early sexual experiences began privately, sometimes accompanied by secrecy or guilt. As adults, these early associations can shape how we experience intimacy and connection, even in loving relationships. What may begin as excitement and freedom can later be replaced by self-doubt or withdrawal when deeper emotions surface.
In therapy, I provide a safe, compassionate space to explore these experiences with honesty and without judgment. Together, we work to understand what’s underneath the struggle—whether it involves self-esteem, communication, trauma, or patterns of avoidance—and to cultivate a more fulfilling and authentic experience of sexuality and intimacy.
My experience includes working with:
• Compulsive sexual behavior
• Pornography concerns
• Erectile difficulties
• Sexual shame and avoidance
• Intimacy and relationship repair
• Open relationships
• Monogamy and ethical non-monogamy
